Wrinkle Eraser: Botox

What is Botox and How Does It Work?

Botox is a purified Botulinum Toxin Type A that temporarily relaxes facial muscles to smooth dynamic wrinkles — lines caused by frowning, squinting, and other repeated expressions. Results appear in 3 to 7 days and last 3 to 4 months.

What to Expect From Your Botox Treatment?

We assess your anatomy, recommend the right toxin, and confirm unit count — before any commitment.

Treatment

15 to 20 minutes. Ultra-fine needles, minimal discomfort, zero downtime.

How Long Does Botox Last?

Results appear in 3 to 5 days, peak at 10 to 14 days, and last 3 to 4 months. Consistent treatments can extend this to 5 to 6 months. At our Botox Toronto clinic, we schedule a complimentary follow-up at 14 days to ensure your results are exactly what you envisioned.

How Often Should You Get Botox?

Every 3 to 4 months for most patients. Many of our Botox Toronto patients find that with regular treatments, their results gradually last longer as the targeted muscles weaken over time.

  • No strenuous exercise for 24 hours

  • Do not rub or massage the area

  • Avoid alcohol and heavy makeup for 24 hours

How Much Does Botox Cost in Toronto؟

At Lux Beauty Skin, all neurotoxins — Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin — are priced at $5 per unit. The total cost of your treatment depends on the area treated and the number of units required, which is determined during your free consultation based on your muscle anatomy and goals.

Patients treating a single area such as the glabella or forehead typically require between 15 to 25 units. Those treating multiple areas or opting for a full-face treatment may exceed 60 units — and will automatically receive 10% off their total.

There are no hidden fees. Your injector will give you a full unit estimate and cost breakdown before any treatment begins.
